Plans of The Ethereum City revealed

Plans of a massive 68,000 acre ‘The Ethereum City’ have been unveiled by Jeffrey Berns, CEO of Blockchains LLC, at a presentation off-Devcon in Prague.

According to Berns this isn’t as much a city as it is a series of different projects to highlight the power of the public blockchain. As the plans go, first a campus would be built where developers from all over the world will be able to come and work on applications and things that would further help build this city. Blockchains campus will be a thousand acre campus roughly, and it will be in the part of innovation park that we’ve dubbed Blockchains graphene valley.

NV Energy, a Berkshire Hathaway company, entered into a memorandum of understanding with Blockchains to incubate new types of energy relationships with their customers.

According to Berns, everything in the Ethereum city will have its infrastructure rooted in blockchain. There will be residential community as well with houses, apartments, condos, banks, market stores, and schools.

There will also be the first of its kind immersive content creation studio that can be thought of as a movie studio that also records music and creates games. This studio will change the way content is distributed, the way content is monetized, and give back the power to the content creators instead of 20 people in a line of distribution.
